Sorting exercise: Liatris

The objective of this exercise is to learn to distinguish the different phyllary (involucral bract) morphotypes exhibited by the species of Liatris in North Carolina. Disregard color as you sort. Instead, focus on structural variation and texture, particularly of the phyllary apex.
