Hudsonia L. (Cistaceae)
Hudsonia is represented by two species in North Carolina. Hudsonia montana is federally listed (Fed T, S1 G1).
Hudsonia tomentosa is state listed (State T, S2 G5). No other taxa are listed or proposed for listing.

Habitat. Outcrop ecotones.
Range. Restricted to Burke and McDowell counties.
Similar taxa. Hypericum species may look deceivingly similar in flower,
however species of Hudsonia have alternate leaves, whereas species of Hypericum have opposite leaves.
